But you can lock access to Google Play, which will get around this.
Having to go through two levels of security each time you access commonly used apps such as WhatsApp or Facebook may seem like overkill; a password may be fine if you have a screen lock enabled. But AppLock is very useful for online banking apps or a note-taking apps where you store sensitive information.
When you forget your password, AppLock will send a code to your email address. But this didn’t work for me and I never received an email, which is a major flaw considering you can’t even uninstall the app without entering your password.
AppLock is easy and straightforward to use, with a single tap on the relevant app in the AppLock homescreen to lock/unlock.In all the time I tested it, there was never an issue with an app not locking correctly or not asking me for my password.
The application works in a very simple way. First, you have to create a numeric password to unlock the application you want to protect. From that moment on, every time that app is opened, it will require you to insert the password you have defined. Even if another user tries to uninstall it, this password window will not allow it.
The best thing about this app is that you can even hide its icon so nobody knows that you have it installed on your device, though they’ll figure it out if it asks them to insert the corresponding password.
